Genuine French White Oak

For those who want the best wide plank hardwood flooring for their homes, French White Oak is the only option. Our engineered French Oak is unparalleled in quality, beauty, and strength. The flawless grain combined with layers of durable premium Baltic Birch plywood creates strong, durable wood flooring.

James Hardwood Flooring uses genuine French White Oak. Many companies use generic European Oak, which can be low-quality. We use only the highest quality French Oak lumber, always sustainably sourced from French forests.

Not only is James Hardwood Flooring the responsible choice, it is the best option for long-lasting hardwood flooring for your home.

Our French Oak is unique and striking. French Oak has naturally high tannins, so it looks great with any color of stain. Your floors will seamlessly flow throughout your home, drawing attention to their beauty without distracting from the rest of your decor. James Hardwood Flooring is the perfect work of art to complete your home.

The strongest engineered
wide plank hardwood
flooring

When people purchase engineered hardwood flooring, they tend to pay more attention to the solid wood than how it is engineered underneath. While the solid wood is incredibly important, so is the engineering beneath it. The top 1/3 of your James Hardwood Flooring engineered hardwood floors is made up of solid French Oak. The other 2/3 are comprised of plywood specifically engineered to make your floors strong and reliable.

All JHF floors are made with 100% premium Baltic Birch plywood. This is the highest quality premium plywood available, which is why we choose it for our engineered hardwood flooring. Our layered premium Birch plywood is the only way you’ll be able to get such a strong foundation for your floors, guaranteeing a higher level of stability. With either 11 layers of plywood (in 3/4” product) or 9 layers (in 5/8” product), the premium Baltic Birch is layered specifically to prevent cupping and gapping during humidity and temperature changes.

Using a combination of European French White Oak and 100% premium Baltic Birch is the only way to engineer the best wide plank hardwood flooring. Together, they give your floors strength and stability so you can enjoy them for many years to come.

Our hardwood flooring exceeds the key
industry requirements by using:

Superior bonding strength

Because of our glue and premium plywood, our floor has a superior bonding strength. This strength can only be achieved by using selected solid veneers of premium Baltic Birch plywood with minimum defects, WBP glue, and our machinery. This machinery compresses the plywood layers together, creating a secure bond between plywood and glue. All of the air bubbles are pressed out of the glue, which bonds the plywood layers tightly together with a secure seal. This creates stronger plywood layers which won’t separate easily with changes in temperature or humidity, leading to stronger and more durable plywood.

Weather and Boil Proof glue

Weather and boil proof glue (WBP) creates a strong, humidity resistant bond between plywood layers. WBP glue is the strongest water-resistant glue available. This is because WBP glue undergoes a rigorous test where the glued plywood layers are submerged in boiling water for 24-72 hours. If the plywood layers don’t delaminate (split apart) during that time, the glue is labeled WBP. When plywood layers use WBP glue as an adhesive, the layers are more resistant to humidity, and therefore less likely to have humidity-related problems. We use WBP glue because it is the most durable, which ultimately leads to more resilient flooring.

Using only selected solid veneers

Our premium Baltic Birch plywood layers are made up of selected solid veneers. Many other engineered flooringcompanies use wood dust or inferior plywood containing holes. Those aren’t as durable or reliable as the several layers of strong, high quality premium Baltic Birch we use. We make sure there are no defects, such as holes, in the plywood. This allows the plywood to bond more securely with the glue, creating a stronger engineered floor. Using selected solid veneers for the outer and inner layers of our flooring minimizes the risk of the wood flooring delaminating, contracting, o expanding due to temperature and humidity changes.

Made by our factory

We make all of our flooring in the Vietnam factory we own. Owning our factory means we can oversee every aspect of our flooring and be hands-on with our product. We choose only the highest quality raw materials to use for our flooring in order to deliver a better product to you. Similarly, we decide how to process our wood and determine the exact methods for creating our premium engineered hardwood flooring. By being hands-on with our process from beginning to end, we can assure you that we offer the best wide plank hardwood flooring with engineered for unparalleled quality at our price point.

Quality control

Every single piece of flooring we produce goes through several quality checks before we send it to you. Because we own our factory, we’re in the unique position of being able to quality check our lumber before it becomes flooring planks.

At every step of the production process, we perform quality checks. This ensures that you’re getting good pieces of lumber, premium Baltic Birch plywood layers without any imperfections, and all of your other specifications (such as color, length, and finish). Our hands-on quality control means you’ll get exactly what you requested from your flooring, and that it will be better quality than any other engineered hardwood flooring you’ll find at this price.
